Bestiary
Every named NPC, animal variant, road patrol, and faction guard in the game. The further you go from home, the deadlier they get.
5 Difficulty Tiers
Tier is determined by distance from faction bases and monument type. NPCs near your spawn are T1. The center of the map is T4-T5.
Weak, near faction bases. Easy kills for new players.
Standard roaming NPCs. A step up — can catch you off-guard.
Dangerous. Found at monuments, further from safety.
Very strong. Hard monuments and outer map.
Named bosses. Full damage, massive HP. Revenge spawns.
💀 Revenge System
Kill too many of the same archetype too quickly and a Tier 5 Dread Lord spawns near you — 750 HP, full damage, named boss. Each archetype has its own kill threshold and time window. The revenge spawn appears 30-50m in front of you with no warning.
Example: Kill 5 knights in 10 minutes → Aldric the Undying spawns on you.
13 Archetypes — 65 Named NPCs
Each archetype has 5 names that scale with tier. A T1 Bandit is a "Starving Wretch." The T5 version is "Korvath the Flayed King." Same archetype, vastly different threat.

🛤️ Road Patrols
Patrol groups of 3 roam the roads — 1 ranged archer (300 HP) + 2 melee bandits (250 HP each). They spawn on roads away from faction territory and respawn every 3 minutes.
🛡️ Faction Guards
Each faction has 12 ranged guards (500 HP, compound bow) + 5 melee guards (mace, heavy armor). They protect your territory and attack enemy faction members on sight. Same-faction players are safe.

🐾 Animal Variants
Hostile animals can spawn as Large (30% chance), Alpha (10%), or Dire (2%) variants — bigger, tougher, with unique names and better loot.
